The former Trappist monastery, located at an altitude of 1,000 meters, is a mountain retreat that promotes sustainability and the enhancement of local products, such as Fricc dal marghè and raw milk cheeses. During the season from April to October, it offers hospitality, refreshments and cultural activities, maintaining a strong connection with the area and its traditions. The facility is also home to the Ecomuseum of Constructive Tradition and organizes events in collaboration with the Biella Museum Network.
The Trappa di Sordevolo is part of and is the heart of the community Slow Food Travel Montagne Biellesi
