Oropa cycle path - Canavese route

CVOC Ring itinerary that from the Canavese leads to the Sanctuary of Oropa, passing from the Sacred Valley, the Valutting, the Serra Morenica of Ivrea and the Elvo Valley.

The Oropa cycle path - Canavese route is a 8 path, consisting of two large rings that see Ivrea in the centre : it can be travelled entirely, from Ivrea to Oropa by way of Cuorgnié, or it is possible to have only one ring, from Ivrea to Cuorgnié or from Ivrea to Oropa or from Ivrea to Oropa and re-entry. 

The itinerary is fully tracked, equipped with signage and reception facilities, and can be divided into 3, 4 or 5 milestones.

Oropa cycle path - Canavese route connects Ivrea railway station from one side to Cuorgnié, from which it is possible with a short detour to visit the Sacred Mount of Belmonte, on the other to the Sanctuary of Oropa, in a path that develops between the Sacred Valley, the Valchiusella, the Serra Morenica of Ivrea and the Elvo Valley, on panoramic and predominantly low-traffic roads, with short stretches of stills.

This is not a cycling track, but an itinerary on walkable roads even in cars ; it is therefore not suitable for families with children. For more visit information : www.camminodioropa.it
