A breathtaking loop route, perfect for cycling and mountain enthusiasts. This transalpine adventure unfolds under the imposing presence of Monte Rosa, winding through high-altitude cycling paths, gravel roads, and mountain trails between Piedmont and the Aosta Valley. Surrounded by nature, alpine villages, and stunning landscapes, riders embark on an itinerary full of unique emotions, ancient legends, and new discoveries.
The route passes through iconic locations such as Bielmonte (Oasi Zegna), Alagna Valsesia, Gressoney, Issime, Santuario di Graglia, and Santuariod di Oropa, following a varied track that alternates between challenging climbs, thrilling descents, and gentler sections along rivers. Along the way, numerous rest stops allow riders to taste local traditional products and recharge their e-bike batteries before continuing the journey.
The Passo dei Salati crossing, accessible via cable car, opens the door to breathtaking high-mountain landscapes, with scenic descents leading to new vistas and pristine valleys. The route winds through forests and alpine pastures, connecting the Canavese area with the Lys Valley, offering a journey through two regions rich in history and Alpine culture.
The loop can be tackled starting from any point and divided as preferred, adapting to each rider’s pace and level of preparation. Along the route, strategic stops offer accommodation options, making the experience even more immersive.
