The Villa Era vineyard, located in Vigliano Biellese, has a long history and was active until the 1970s, only to be renovated in 2006 with the first harvest in 2007. Vine cultivation in this area has ancient roots and benefits from a quality soil, known as Astiano, rich in sandy clays, gravels and marls with marine fossils. The favorable exposure and ideal climate for Nebbiolo, the predominant grape variety, have led to the production of high quality, historically appreciated wines. The winery obtained DOCG certification in 2011 and adopts organic farming methods.
