Cascina Escuelita, founded in 1986, is a family farm dedicated to sustainable food production. It produces bread using ancient grains grown on the farm, with artisanal processes such as milling and baking in a wood-fired oven, and offers bread-making classes. She also grows vegetables and harvests wild herbs, processing the products into preserves and jams, using organic ingredients from known suppliers. The store is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with reservations required for after-hours purchases.
