The farm “La Bessa” obtained organic certification in 2004. It planted its first hazelnut grove of 650 plants of the Tonda Gentile del Piemonte variety in 2001, adding another 750 plants between 2007 and 2011. In 2012, it acquired 6 hectares of land in Cerrione to grow spelt and buckwheat. The company produces spreadable creams, hazelnut oil, compotes and honey, and is the only producer of IGP Piedmont hazelnuts in the Biella region.
