Among vineyards and ancient ovens: loop from Viverone to Peverano

52 Pleasant hiking loop that unfolds against the backdrop of Lake Viverone and leads to the discovery of some of the area's most unique food and wine.

The walk starts from Viverone (BI), a 1 hour 15 minute drive from Milan and 45 minutes from Turin.

In less than an hour we will arrive at the “Big Bench,” where there is a view of Lake Viverone.

We will continue the walk to the old consortium oven of Peverano, renovated in the 1990s by the inhabitants of the village, who still gather at special times to light the community oven.

We then continue to San Vitale, where there is a small church of very ancient origins.

On the way back you will pass through the vineyards managed by sisters Elisa and Claudia Pozzo, custodians of the traditional winemaking practice of terraced cultivation, which has delightfully shaped the cultural landscape of the place over the centuries.
