The Oropa Way Oriental route to Vallemosso

CDRO A defiant and fascinating journey

The Oropa Way Oriental route is the most technical and challenging among the itineraries that lead to Oropa. It is more like an itinerary of trekking than a journey and above all the itinerary is closed from November 1 until April 30 because it could be grafted or frozen. Also in May, inform yourself at the reception facilities on the condition of the route before leaving.

It can be walked in the two directions : starting from Valle Mosso, going through the Cervo Valley and finally arriving at the Oropa Sanctuary or it can be considered a continuation of the journey for those who arrive in Oropa after walking or the the Serra route or the Canavese route.

It can be split into 3 stages by the most coached or by those who run it from Oropa in the direction of Valle Mosso, or in 4 short milestones that "amortize" the dismay of the more than 1,000 meters that you have to deal with to get to the Bocchetto Sessera from those who instead perish it in the direction of Oropa.
